Materiel & Logistics serves as the centralized procurement, inventory, warehouse, storage, distribution and logistics hub for all Residential Operations functional units including housekeeping, grounds, maintenance and projects. By streamlining our procurement processes and having consistent supply chain management, our team works collaboratively to develop efficient workflows that ensure policy compliance and the security of inventory spanning multiple warehouses in the HDAE portfolio. We work closely with campus partners to create operational plans for logistics challenges including the annual Move-In, academic break periods, Move-Out, and the routine turnover of our residential facilities from the academic year to Summer Conferences.
